These pinecone pens are made by resident artist, Brendan Gallagher.
 
These pens are hand turned from un-treated pine cones collected from and around Purbeck.
These pens fallen cones, stripped of seeds by squirrels are known locally as ‘squirlybites’ and were used in the past for kindling. These pens fallen squirlybite becomes the raw material for my pens.
