Most of my life I have been fortunate enough to have lived in Dorset where I discovered that the Isle of Purbeck is an inspiration of natural and man-made wonders. I hope my work conveys something of the magic of this unique county. The colours of the seasons are important to me as well as the movement of the sky and sea along the Dorset coastline. I try to communicate the changes in mood, using the freedom and translucency of watercolour overlaid with pen and ink detail.
